Computational Chemists at AstraZeneca

Computational Chemistry section within the Medicinal Chemistry department in the Cardio-vascular and Gastro-intestinal Innovative
Medicines unit (CVGI iMed) at AstraZeneca in Molndal, Sweden, is currently recruiting a number of Senior Scientists in computational
chemistry for working in our drug discovery projects in all phases between target selection and candidate nomination.

The role requires enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to interact in a multi-disciplinary team and to communicate effectively. We are
looking for Ph.D.s in science with experience in cheminformatics, small molecule modeling, ligand- and structure-based design. Industrial
experience from a similar role and/or a background in, e.g., organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, computer programming, or
pharmacy is advantageous. This is a challenging position in the interplay of different disciplines in a fast developing field.
